In particular they make a large number of garden products such as raised garden beds, garden scooters, gardening benches/stations, fencing, edging, outdoor screen enclosures, composters, rain barrels and of course garden hose reels.

Garden hose reels and garden hose reel carts basically are made from two types of materials. One is plastic, and these are generally cheaper. Suncast ones are made from plastic/ The other type is metal, and although these tend to be much more durable, they are more expensive. Suncast does make some good and reasonable priced hose reels - I own some for example and am happy.

It features Suncast's "Smart Trak" to automatically guide the hose onto the reel, making winding easier and faster.

Customer comments range from "Great Hose Reel !!!" to "Don't buy this box!" Many people are happy but there are also negative comments on the durability of the plastic parts (replacement parts are available from Suncast.com).

The Suncast Powerwind 100-Foot Capacity Automatic Rewind Garden Hose Reel is a battery powered automatic hose reel with a 100 foot hose capacity.

It comes equipped with a rechargeable battery and a foot pedal for easy use, and is fully assembled and advertises a "tangle free design."

The Suncast Sidetracker Wall-Mount Hose Reel is an inexpensive and basic garden hose reel.

It mounts to the wall easily with screws and holds 100 feet of hose.

It has a removable reel that comes off easily for winter storage. Like most Suncast products, some people love them as does Pdk from Brooklyn, NY who says "The greatest hose reel ever," and some people don't, like D. Baker from Livonia, MI who says "Broke almost immediately" but still gives it two stars.

Suncast Hose Reels are extremely popular and widely available. They are made of plastic, not metal, and are probably not appropriate for heavy duty use, but many people love them for home use.
